Our Rockdoor Composite Door Competition Winners!

First Impressions Count

Laura and Danny were thrilled to move into their beautiful new build home in Lancashire but were somewhat disappointed with the look and quality of the front door which had been fitted by the house builders. When they saw a competition running on the Ultraframe Home Improvements Facebook page, they decided to enter and were absolutely thrilled when they got a call to say they were the lucky winners!

Explaining more, Laura said: “We have recently bought a new build house and they had put in a very cheaply made door – we were very disappointed with the quality of it. The paintwork was shocking and there was a lot of damage on the woodwork. Unfortunately, corners were cut, and it was never done to a satisfactory standard. There have been a lot of break-ins in our area recently and so as well as not being happy with the appearance of our old door, we were also worried about security. We were absolutely thrilled to find out that we had won a new Rockdoor composite door courtesy of Ultraframe Home Improvements.”

Composite doors that are a cut above the rest

Composite doors are constructed from a variety of materials (hence the name), including PVC, wood, insulating foam and GRP (glass reinforced plastic). The combination of materials results in a door that is extremely strong and secure. Rockdoor is one of the recognised leaders in the design and manufacture of composite doors and the company’s aim was to create a composite door that was a ‘cut above the rest’ when it came to style and security, and they have certainly achieved this. In fact, Rockdoors are so strong that emergency services have to undergo specialist training in how to gain access! The team at Ultraframe Home Improvements will help you to choose a style and specification of door that is perfect for you and your home, and your door will then be made to measure before being installed by Ultraframe Home Improvement’s expert fitting team.

Rockdoors are a premium choice of composite door which means no leaks, no draughts and reduced heating bills and Laura and Danny have already seen the benefits of this, as Laura explained: “We are so happy with our new door. It’s not only the nicest door that I’ve seen, it’s draught free and I can feel the quality when I’m locking and unlocking it. I feel so much safer knowing that we’ve got a secure door. Not only this but I would say it’s made a huge impact on the appearance of our house – it really stands out from all the others on the street and we believe that it’s definitely going to add value to our home.”

Service with a smile

Laura and Danny are not only thrilled with their new door, but they were also extremely pleased with the service they received from Ultraframe Home Improvements during the installation.

“The fitters were very friendly, worked very hard and cleaned up well after they had finished. They did a very good job fitting the door,” said Laura. “At first when we found out that we had won, it was quite surreal. I enter competitions on Facebook all the time but never win anything. Once it had sunk in that we had won we were so happy and very excited to design our door.”

The full range of Rockdoor composite doors are available from Ultraframe Home Improvements and there is a door to suit every property and project, including French doors and Stable doors that are perfect for country homes. The beautiful black door that Laura and Danny chose is the Newark style and is perfectly complemented by a black frame and central knob handle for a sense of grandeur.
